Puro Amor creates wedding films and content for couples marrying in Costa Rica. This policy explains what information puroamorcostarica.com collects, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

This website is run by Puro Amor. For any privacy question or request, send us a message through the inquiry form on our homepage or a direct message on Instagram at @puroamorcostarica.

What we collect

When you send us an inquiry

The inquiry form on our homepage is provided by VSCO Workspace, the system we use to manage inquiries and clients. It asks for your name, email address and the service you are interested in. You can also share your phone number, wedding date, venue and a message. Google reCAPTCHA checks the form to keep spam out.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google sets cookies to do this. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and performance.

Private pages

Some pages, such as our private collections, are protected with a password we share with couples. When you unlock one, your browser keeps a cookie so you do not have to enter the password again for a few days.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal for your wedding.
  • If you book with us, to plan, film and deliver your wedding film and content, and to keep the records our accounting requires.
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Services that receive information

  • VSCO Workspace: inquiry and client records.
  • Google: Analytics, reCAPTCHA on the inquiry form, and a Google sign-in script loaded by our site tools.
  • Hostinger: website hosting.
  • Showit and Cloudflare (cdnjs): some images and a form script load from their servers, which receive your IP address like any image or file host.

Our site links to Instagram and YouTube. When you open those links, their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we need it to answer you and, if you book, to deliver your wedding and meet our accounting and legal obligations. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your choices

  • Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
